3 WAYS TO STAND OUT ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Social Media can be used for so much! 

So if you’re ready to absolutely level up your social media presence, then these tips are FOR YOU! 


1. Be Obsessed 

Be obsessed with whatever it is you’re selling.

Sometimes when you start social for your business you have so much to say we can vomit words that make sense to us but not others ! Think about it this way - people are only seeing little glimpses! That consistency can show that you’re serious about building your business, that you’re not just ‘trying it on.’ Mix these little snippets with you - just be you share anything you are passionate about not just your business .

People want authenticity , which means be honest about what you like and don’t like .. being perfect isn’t normal and adding value with mixing entertainment posts , Educational posts are two ways to things up for your followers.


2. Don’t copy anyone

This simply for me applies to LIFE if you are consistently duplicating like for like from someone or any organisation this isn’t autheicallyl you and followers ;

  1. Can see this isn’t your natural being and will switch off

  2. Bad business to duplicate like to like, There is nothing worse than witnessing your ideas thoughts and words being copied and shared with people .people will eventually catch on and people talk ! online and offline so just don’t do it .

It’s ok to use someone else’s post as a template for inspiration but I recommend you quote people all the time if you duplicate like for like this way you build community , new followers will join you which are of like minded people who you want to attract anyway , so make sure you always pay it forward .

When you start you might ask yourself, is this too much? But it’s going to be exactly what the right person needs to hear from you. 

If you want to stand out you have to stand your ground. 


3. Value 

Social media is HUGE and very noisy ! Sometimes you just want to take a Selfie or maybe you just want to complain -- but what I recommend is to start thinking before you post: 

How is this going to serve someone? Would this help someone? Would be sharing this vulnerable moment help someone? Would this little hack help someone? Yes! 

If you want to become someone worth following, be mindful of what you’re putting out into the world of social.
